The Londoners diary of the Evening Standard contains the following- "I'm delighted to see my story on Monday about Kiwi songbird Hayley Westenra and her engagement to French sound engineer Arnaud Sabard is big news back home. It was on the front page of the Christchurch Press and page two of the New Zealand Herald. Her managers had hoped her engagement, confirmed in New Zealand over the Christmas holidays, could be kept secret until her UK tour promoting her Paradiso album at the end of this month. Fat chance. Hayley will be in Gateshead on February 29, then Rhyl, Northampton, Manchester, Southend and Bournemouth. With Arnaud, presumably." He seems rather sure of himself, though there is still no official word either way- so it remains a well publicized rumor.

According to the evening standard, Hayley is engaged to Arnaud Sabard. We await further media confirmation of this report. As at Wednesday morning, this report has been repeated verbatim in the Daily Express and several other publications [eg, contactmusic), no new information was added.

Hey all we did have a hacker manage to upload a virus to the website, Via the Twitter feeds. With the security protocols that Hayley Online and the hosting company uses everyone was still safe. Unless the person was using a robot/spider, as it was not linked anywhere within the site. Everyone still may see the website go offline and back online during next month and a half. We are just doing upgrades. No information or any content at all was stolen from the website. Sorry about the down time all. If you can get to see Hayley live in 2012, then don't hesitate. It will be the highlight of your year. You will never forget it. That is how good she is, and I can't say this strongly enough. If you don't see her while you can still afford to do so, you will regret it.
